Since NOAWS is a completly volunteer run organization, we sometimes ask members for assistance with NOAWS activities.
NOTE : Membership is not exclusive to volunteers!
We value your membership, and respect that many members cannot be volunteers.
Please indicate if you wish to help with any of the following :
As a foster home (foster a cat or dog until a permanent home is found)
Assist with care of animals in a foster home (walking dogs, feeding and care of animals, etc..)
Transportation of foster animals (to and from vet, to prospective new homes, etc...)
Assisting owners in looking for lost pets.
Taking part in public information sessions (such as school visits, visits to seniors' residences, etc...)
Participating in "adoption days" (showing foster animals available for adoption at appropriate venues)
Photographing pets available for adoption
Assisting in fundraising efforts or at specific fundraising events.
Donating items for fundraisers such as :
