MANDATE

The main function of the Animal Control Department is to enforce the Animal Control By-law.

• Licensing, Registration & Regulation of Dogs


• Sanitary Disposal of Dog Excrement


• Prohibit & Regulate Keeping of Certain Kinds of Animals

Operational Hours:

The Animal Control Department operates on a 24-hour emergency basis. Regular office hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday - Full Service	8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday - Office only	7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Note: Drop off and pick-up of animals are the only services available on Saturdays & Sundays.
