Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society aka NOAWS is a small, dedicated group of like-minded individuals united by a common goal: to address the urgent issue of pet overpopulation in Iroquois Falls, Cochrane, Matheson, Timmins and surrounding communities.

NOAWS is completely volunteer run, and is a foster home based rescue.

NOAWS works with Northern Ontario communities to help homeless animals, promote spay and neutering, and provide care when we can.

Together, we’re doing what we can to ease the suffering and create a better future for animals in need.
